Though Friend or Foe tends to be discarded as some random 'for the kids' one-off, it actually handles very well, has its heart in the right place, and is surprisingly well-written and humorous throughout.

Set as a beat 'em up inspired by the 2000s Spider-Man movie trilogy mixed with the wider Marvel Universe, the excuse given to letting you partner up with various allies and enemies is... an alien invasion. From Prowler to Venom, Green Goblin, Carnage and even Blade, as this came a year after Marvel Ultimate Alliance blew our collective hair back, you could tell it was a more Spidey-centric take on that formula.
