10 Best Vampire Video Games EVER
8. Darkwatch
Mixing the genres of Horror, Western, and Steampunk, Drakwatch was a game that, from top to bottom, felt cool. In the game, you play as Jericho Cross (ugh) as he sets out to stop the rise of the vampire lord Lazarus (UGH).
In the process of doing so, Cross himself is bitten by the villain and must now incorporate his new powers in conjunction with his already impressive arsenal of weapons to either save the world or damn it.
Boasting impressive visuals for its time and precision controls that made the gunplay endlessly enjoyable, Darkwatch was able to craft itself into something wholly unique.
Beyond that, the game has a wide variety of demonic entities and ghostly allies, along with a slight morality system that leads to two possible boss fights and subsequent endings, something of a rarity for first-person shooters in a time where the genre was not particularly regarded for its storytelling.
The voice acting is solid, with the usual dependable work from Jennifer Hale and a surprisingly powerful performance from Rose McGowan as the seductive shaman Tala. Darkwatch is a game that definitely deserves more attention.
