10 Best Vampires In Video Games
7. Emiel Regis Rohellec Terzieff-Godefroy (The Witcher 3)
The world of The Witcher is a land filled to the brim with classic mythological beasts, so it's no surprise that vampires are a part of that.
Unlike many other projects, The Witcher has a distinct class system for the creatures ranging from thoughtless fleders to higher vampires. Some were a little disappointed that vampires weren't in the main Witcher 3 story as much as they could have been, but that was quickly rectified in the Blood and Wine expansion.
In this DLC, Geralt encounters an old friend in the form of Regis, a vampire with a name so long you can tell he's higher. Although this character hadn't appeared in the games before this expansion, he and Geralt had a clear history thanks to their connection in the books. This comes across so well as you invest in their past and can understand their relationship.
Regis is easy to love as his soft-spoken manner is so charming, and he plays up to the idea of a morally strong vampire. He avoids killing humans and is a massive help to Geralt in the hunt for Detlaff, but most of all, he sees the good in people and vampires, which makes him a very compelling companion.
