10. Bigby Wolf - The Wolf Among Us

Telltale's Walking Dead Season One was a landmark achievement in game design, and more specifically it was one of the first titles to prove games could tell incredibly moving and emotionally-resonant stories whilst also making them interactive, to the point where you felt as though every step and conversation choice you made had a huge impact.

So naturally following that they were onto a winning formula; one so potent in fact that the studio seemed to liberally douse it on every property-offer they got given. Not only did they start working on a second season of the zombie-filled adventure, but we also got trailers for a Game of Thrones game, a Borderlands tie-in and the comic-adaptation of Bill Willingham's Fables comic; The Wolf Among Us.

Now for any not in the know of just how supremely unique and instantly-enjoyable this series is, it follows a whole load of fairytale characters living in New York, hidden away with spells to conceal their identities. There's a bunch more going on - let's just say Prince Charming makes himself known around the streets of the city - but Bigby (get it? Big Bad Wolf?) acts as the Sheriff of Fabletown, solving an overarching conspiratorial murder whilst busting out his true wolf form whenever any particularly testy perps need grilling.

Yes, it's that cool and yes, it's that ridiculous, but with the full season now complete, if you're after something a bit different, it's a great time to jump in.
