Monkey Fight is a party minigame found in some form in five of the games in the Super Monkey Ball franchise, but it is the very original's version that every self respecting Super Monkey Ball fan will agree is still the best. Though the formula of the minigame has been done in everything from Mario to Wii Party, Super Monkey Ball's version really is the version to stick with. No one does rolling around on top of platforms better than Super Monkey Ball, and the minigame captures that frenzied party feeling better than any other title out there.

In a franchise that has become known for pumping out fun and addictive minigames over the years, there's just something so satisfying about Monkey Fight in the original that helps it stand out above the rest. Whilst other versions run just as well, they won't ever feel like they belong in a franchise better than Monkey Fight does with Super Monkey Ball.

In Monkey Fight, four monkey balls go up against each other on top of a platform, with a retractable punching glove hooked up to their ball which they need to use to knock their opponents off the edge. Four opponents all going up against each other gives the minigame that frantic party feel again, and the Nintendo GameCube version of this iconic minigame is complete with special custom animations for victory screens for each character, as well as three unique battlegrounds: ice, space and Super Monkey Ball classic, jungle.
