2. "Kojima Productions Forever" (Metal Gear Survive)

Metal Gear Survive was never going to be a success, but it was arguably better than it had any right to be. Still, the whole project stunk of Konami wanting to cash in on their most beloved franchise, creating a spinoff designed entirely to ride the survival game boom that was working out so well for other developers.

In other words, you could see the corporate, focus-tested fingers of the publisher in every single part of the release. Well, every single part except one.

Dedicated fans spotted a manifest, a seemingly throwaway item which was initially picked up because the names at the bottom were those of the main producers on the title. Closer inspection, however, seemed to unearth a hidden message, as the first letters of every last name spelled out "KJP Forever", potentially translating to "Kojima Productions Forever".

Although many developers left Konami when Hideo Kojima was fired back in 2015, some stayed, and this message could be a loving ode to their former director.
