10. Dark Souls Bonfire (Monster Hunter: World)

Dark Souls isn't only notorious for being one of the best - and most difficult - action-RPGs of the past decade, but for also inspiring a wealth of Souls-themed easter eggs in other games.

Specifically, the series' signature bonfire has shown up in everything from Battlefield 1 to Just Cause 3, and now it's even made an appearance in Monster Hunter: World. Hidden in a crystal cavern in the north west of the map, players have to do a bit of exploring to find the right path through the labyrinth, but should eventually find the easter egg tucked away and lighting up a small area right at the very end.

Had the homage not been overdone a little by this point it could have made it higher on this list, but that doesn't make it any less interesting to see the Monster Hunter devs pay homage to one of the giants of the industry.
