9. Chloe Frazer - Uncharted Series

The adventures of Nathan Drake ended up being the franchise that pushed Naughty Dog to super-stardom.

Much of Uncharted's success can be chalked up to its likeable and engaging characters. In the first game, things were fairly standard and a little cliched, but as the series continued, it branched out to new and equally engaging faces.

Chloe Frazier was introduced in 2009's Uncharted 2: Among Thieves as a former flame of Nate's. Initially she teams up with the protaganist and fellow thief Harry Flynn in the game's opening section.

Throughout the rest of the story mode, she seemingly appeared as a bit of a double agent, working against the hero one moment and maintaining her undercover place in Zoran Lazaravich's forces the next.

Voiced by Claudia Black, Chloe's wit made her a fan favourite among the community. Yet despite her swinging between allegiances in Among Thieves, she's still a tough woman who sticks by Nathan and Elena to the end. While her presence was deemphasised in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, she maintained high popularity.

Seductive, capable and unpredictable, Chloe's ways brought a more stylish tone to the Uncharted series, to the point she got her own game with Lost Legacy. This gave her the chance to carve out her own niche to close out the franchise.
