10 Best Video Game Side Characters Who Made Everything Better
8. Ada Wong - Resident Evil 2
The Resident Evil series is home to many a strong female character, but the one with arguably the biggest fanfare is Ada Wong. Throughout the series, her goals and allegiances are rarely made clear, yet she's consistently holding her own against zombies and las plagas alike.
She first appeared in Resident Evil 2, assisting Leon Kennedy in his fight against the G-Virus in Racoon City while also having her own plans to collect a sample of the bio-weapon. Appearing again in Resident Evil 4, she continues to elude full understanding from the protagonist and also received her own playable sections with Assingment Ada and Seperate Ways, both of which complemented that entry.
What players love about Ada is her cunning and charismatic mannerisms. The anti-hero persona generates a great deal of ambiguity when she shows up. Add to that her acrobatic movements and slick voice acting from Sally Cahill and you've got an incredibly memorable character.
Ada Wong's place within the Resident Evil Universe is well established across the three mainline entries. With the more serious modern tone of the series, her appearances have been dialled back somewhat. Be that as it may, she always brings a fan pleasing presence to the franchise.
