3. Zangief (Street Fighter) - RAW

As far as iconic fictional wrestlers go, they don't get much bigger than the Red Cyclone. Zangief made his gaming debut in Street Fighter II and has been ever present since. Brought to life in the Jean Claude Van Damme film (portrayed by Andrew Bryniarski) Zangief is a proven popular commodity who has featured in all forms of pop-culture media, even appearing in a Disney blockbuster (Wreck-it Ralph, 2012).

An unapologetic Russian stereotype, Zangief is a giant with strong wrestling prowess, proven cross brand appeal, and experience of playing a foreign enemy to American heroes. He is essentially everything WWE management loves and they would do anything within company power to sign him up. Once secured he would feature on Raw (the flagship show) and quickly topple fellow strong men like Rusev, Big Cass, and Braun Strowman. A meteoric rise would follow for matches with the likes of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. Zangief would provide the ying to the good guy's yang for multiple years.

With his tendency to be featured as a comedy character and the similar fate shared by many large athletes, there would be fear for eventual misuse. A career similar to the Big Show (that has had its fair share of ups and downs) would be regarded as a success, but when it is suggested he teams with R-Truth and Goldust he would likely move on. Luckily Zangief already has a stronger film resumé than most, so his post WWE career would flourish.
