Coming off of the back of one of the most exciting and well-received Bond films in years, Goldeneye's cartridge based counterpart destroyed expectations and the glass ceiling when it came to what an FPS title could be.
Ludicrously entertaining to play through solo and only better with friends, this was a title that put replayability front and centre and was so packed with content that the staffers at Rare must have replaced their blood with a cocktail of illegal substances in order to get everything crammed into the title before their deadline.
Everyone and their nan has played this game and felt the thrill of rushing through maps in order to hunt down their friends so what else needs to be said? You know it. You love it.
