10 Best Video Games Based On Movies

8. Ratchet & Clank

Focus Features

I know this one is a bit cheeky but stick with me here, as while the 2016 Ratchet and Clank title is in effect a remake of the outstanding original game, it's TECHNICALLY classed as a movie tie in thanks to the fact that it infuses moments of the CGI film!

And you know I love technicality.

Plus it gives me a reason to harp on about how utterly enthralling this title is. From its eye massaging visuals to sound design so crisp it sounds like a pack of Walkers on top of a snowy mountain, this game sings with quality from every aspect.

On top of this the game plays like liquid butter for how smooth it is, and it's one of the few remakes or remasters (that technically isn't) that feels refreshing as much as it does nostalgic.

While it's a shame the movie itself couldn't hit these highs, the game stands alone as one of the best examples of the Ratchet And Clank series, and with a library of amazing titles that's saying something.

Jules Gill hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
