10 Best Video Games You Can Play On Your Mac

1. Undertale

As the 'Best Game Of 2015' rundowns continue to pour in from across the internet, one of the most consistent games to be mentioned is Undertale - the innocuous little RPG made using Game Maker Studio that has won the hearts and minds of everyone who's come into contact with it. In this ingenious little gem, you control a child who wanders through an underground realm filled with monsters, which were banished to the underworld after losing a battle against the humans. At this point, you'd assume that your job is to kill said monsters, but Undertale's ingenuity stems from the fact that this isn't a requirement, and you can engage with them in other ways if you so please. You can talk with them, flirt with them or otherwise sweet-talk them in an attempt to avoid combat, and in so doing you'll begin to understand the game's events from their perspective. Whatever way you choose to engage the creatures, every action is played out using bullet death-style minigame in which you need to guide a little icon of your heart through a series of fast-moving obstacles. It's simple, and it works well enough that you can focus on the enigmatic, excellent story that unfolds as you engage with the underworld's denizens. After playing Undertale, you'll never be able to look at Pokémon in the same way again, wondering whether those cute little critters would rather not fight, if only we gave them the choice...
