6. The INCREDIBLY Short Halo: Infinity Tease

Apparently Halo's latest sequel is running on an all-new engine, and takes place across an open-world riddled with quests for you to mop up as Master Chief.

You wouldn't know any of this, however, because the teaser we got was a load of environmental shots, finishing on a close-up of the Chief's helmet before a quick pan of a warthog in motion closed the footage out.

All told, this was just two minutes long, with seconds of the Chief himself appearing in a costume that looked suitably old-school. Is this 343 Industries replacing Halo 6 with a soft-rebooted instalment? Perhaps the fulfilment of ditching numbers to instead focus on different subtitles as the franchise moves forward?

Again, we have no idea, because Halo: Infinity was shown off with the confidence of a dormouse.

Oh, and sticking the Halo 3 reveal theme on to score cheap nostalgia points with fans is just, well, cheap.
