10 Biggest Problems With Nintendo Switch
1. Games On The Cloud Are Unplayable
Due to the Switch's hardware limitations, some games cannot run on the console unless they are on the cloud. This is irritating since these titles need a constant connection to run, meaning your gameplay will be interrupted if you go offline, even if its momentary.
Now, you could let this slide if the games in its cloud library ran smoothly.
Unfortunately, they don't. Just to be clear - these cloud titles aren't a little janky. The Switch version of Guardians of the Galaxy and Kingdom Hearts Integrum are borderline unplayable.
Just to remind you - Kingdom Hearts is 20 years old. The fact that a PS2 title can grind the Switch's hardware to a halt is embarrassing. These ports are so diabolical, it would've been in Nintendo's best interest if they were never released in the first place.
Because cloud ports of four Resident Evil titles are coming to the Switch in a few weeks, this is the company's last chance of having this issue resolved. If these games suffer the same problems as before, it would probably be best if the Switch retires the cloud port system entirely.
