10 Biggest Snubs From The Game Awards 2017

7. Night In The Woods

Nier 2
Infinite Fall

Easily one of the best indie games of the year, Night in the Woods definitely deserved to win the award for most impactful game.

Despite only being nominated for most impactful game, the category that Night in the Woods truly deserved to be nominated for was Best Narrative.

The thing that really makes Night in the Woods special is the main cast of characters and how they realistically interact with one another. They truly act like young adults stuck in a dead-end town, and the character progression of Mae in particular is a sight to behold.

Another major strength of Night in the Woods is the music. Music plays a pretty big part in Night in the Woods because of Mae and her band, which means that it features quite heavily throughout. The soundtrack for Night in the Woods is infectiously catchy, which makes its lack of recognition all the more upsetting.

At least Night in the Woods managed to get nominated for a few awards.
