10 Biggest Snubs From The Game Awards 2017

4. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Nier 2
Sony

Despite being one of the best-selling and most well-received titles of the year, the N. Sane Trillgy somehow managed to avoid any nominations whatsoever.

Considering how popular the N. Sane Trilogy is, and as one of the best-selling games of the year, it's surprising that it didn't get more attention at The Game Awards. Perhaps it's because of its position as a remaster of an old PlayStation trilogy that causes it to be overlooked as a contender in any category.

That doesn't make it's snubbing right by any means. The amount of work that Vicarious Visions and Activision put into remaking the games as faithfully as possible is truly breathtaking, and a testament to the games themselves. Ignoring this work simply because the games aren't brand new seems unfair.

Although Super Mario Odyssey is certainly deserving of its award as the best 'family' game, the N. Sane Trilogy certainly at least deserved to be nominated.
