10 Biggest Snubs From The Game Awards 2017
5. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege
Considering it released two years ago, it’s kind of incredible just how much Rainbow Six: Siege has grown since then. This makes it a perfect contender for the winner of the Ongoing Games award.
Although Overwatch was certainly a deserving, if a little obvious, choice for the winner of the Ongoing Games award, Rainbow Six: Siege was arguably a little more deserving.
Considering how controversial Ubisoft have been in recent years, it's pretty great to see them get their game together and craft a wholly unique experience that really lives up to fan expectations. Rainbow Six: Siege did exactly this, and still continues to be played and improved upon even two years after release.
Since releasing in late 2015, Siege has seen a host of new characters, maps and game modes added to the base game, all of which aim to expand upon the game in pretty significant ways. Previous issues with the game have also been ironed out with these expansions, with Ubisoft really focusing on the community.
With all of this constant improvement and dedication, Siege truly deserved to win the award. Always support the underdog.
