10 Biggest Video Game Complaints FIXED In DLC

6. Unsatisfying Ending - Mass Effect 3: Citadel (2013)

There is so much to say in favour of the Mass Effect series. The engaging sci-fi lore, the intense moral choices and the deep interpersonal relationships with your shipmates can all be cited as reasons why these games are regarded with such adoration by sci-fi and action fans alike.

Even then, there's no such thing as absolute perfection, and one need only look to the crushingly anticlimactic ending of Mass Effect 3 to understand that.

With plot threads left dangling, player choices mostly chucked out the window and a general lack of finality, this ending was nothing like what it could have been, and fans were more than a little miffed.

Luckily, BioWare did not bury their heads in the sand from this point on, and after a number of add-ons and expansions came the final story DLC for Mass Effect 3: Citadel.

The expansion focuses heavily on the relationships between characters, offering a lot in the way of positive fan service to soften the blow of previous fan backlash.

It also culminates in Shepherd throwing a party for the crew members, which conveys a real sense of bringing things together in a way they hadn't before. Suddenly, the closure feels like it could be there, and with this emotional scene, it seems like the series can finally have that epic send-off it always deserved.
