2. Lawbreakers
Another great game that unfortunately didn't get the attention it deserved, Lawbreakers didn't manage to make a dent in the gaming lineup for this year and ended up heavily under performing.
Despite having some fantastic gameplay hooks that really set it apart from other first person shooters, Lawbreakers just didn't seem to attract many gamers at all, especially with the competition on the market. Without any single-player elements to it, Lawbreakers relies entirely on its multiplayer aspects, which will certainly end up being its undoing.
It got so bad at one point that Lawbreakers' player count dropped to an all-time low of ten concurrent players. That's only just enough to fill up a match.
Lawbreakers has had to have several free weekends to try and attract more players but it hasn't worked longterm and the player counts are as low as ever. Where the game will go from here is currently unknown, but for now it remains as one of the biggest flop of 2017.
