For some reason or another the Funko Pop figure trend is one that is showing little sign of slowing down and people just love the idea of collecting thousands of dead eyed creepy dolls to line their walls with, so much so that it was almost inevitible that they would eventually cross over into board games. And this isn't just some Funko Themed Monopoly game, as Funkoverse is a light team based strategy game that lets you use Funko figures from multiple franchises to battle it out for supremecy.

And there are so many to choose from: Harry Potter, DC heroes, even the bloody Golden Girls have got in on the action, and recently they've just released a Jurrassic Park version of the game which ticks my very specific box to play a board game as a velociraptor.

Thanks to each box and expansion offering new ways to play the game and the huge assortment of characters, there's honestly so much replayability on offer here and something for every type of fan to enjoy. Plus it's got the added bonus of sharing some similarities to my all time favorite table top game Warhammer.

Seriously, you build a little team, use stat lines, capture objectives and duff up your opponents, and trust me that's always a good thing.
