10 BONE-BREAKING Video Game Moves That Made You Wince
6. Swamp Thing's Green Kingdom - Injustice 2
Although superhero beat-em-ups are known for their over-the-top attacks, the Injustice series take it to the next level. If you perform a Super Move, you can smash your opponent with a sea monster, a T-Rex, or an freakin' asteroid field. For Batman's Super Move, he doesn't hit his enemy with a batarang; he slams into them with the freakin' Batmobile!
As awesome as these sequences are, most of them are too ridiculous to take seriously. But in Injustice 2, the earthly elemental, Swamp Thing, has a Super Move that looks so unbearable, it feels more at home in a Mortal Kombat game than the DC franchise.
The plant protector begins by dragging his rival into an underground cave and smacking into the ground with such force, it propels them back into the air. As they flail about, Swamp Thing's enlarged fist grinds his enemy into the walls before snapping their back on a stalagmite. Because the marshy monster doesn't think his opponent has suffered enough, his trunk-sized fist punches them back to the surface before slamming them onto the ground headfirst.
For someone who regards himself as a protector of the Earth, it's uncharacteristic how unnecessarily brutal Swamp Thing moves are.
