10 BRAND NEW Video Game Trailers You Need To See
7. Ruined Kings: A League Of Legend Story
League of Legends has been around for over a decade but is still the most popular MOBA game out there. In fact, it is so popular that it has become the largest esport, with the 2019 League of Legends World Championships had over 100 million unique viewers, 44 million concurrent viewers at its peak and a minimum prize pool of $2.5 million.
But at the 10 year anniversary of LoL, developer Riot Games announced that they were going to be developing other games around the LoL intellectual property. This so far has resulted in Runeterra, a card game similar to Hearthstone, and League of Legends: Wild Rift, which is a mobile version of the original LoL game. But at the Game Awards we got a first look at their newest LoL related game.
Ruined Kings: A League Of Legends Story is an upcoming turn based RPG and will be the first game released under Riots new publishing arm, Riot Forge, and will be developed by Airship Syndicate.
As the trailer shows, the game certainly looks like a LoL game, but time will tell whether it will be able to win over LoL fans or not.
