10 Cancelled Video Games That Could Have Been Masterpieces

5. Star Wars 1313

Developer: LucasArts Concept: Mature Star Wars game For a long time, it was looking like Star Wars 1313 was the game that fans of Lucas' sci-fi trilogy had been waiting for. Set in the criminal underbelly of Coruscant, Star Wars 1313 was to be more focused on bounty hunters and crime lords than Jedi and lightsabers. It was this ragged environment that really had fans hyped, as it harked back to the visual style of the original trilogy. "It has a little bit of class, but you know it's a little bit rotten underneath," claimed LucasArts when discussing the 1313 underworld. "It's oppressive. It has all that weight bearing down on the play all time." Following the developer's acquisition by Disney, Star Wars 1313 was one of many projects terminated. There's a slim chance that EA will take over development at some point in the future, but substantial has suggested this to be true so far. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQyGu4EqZsU

Tom Butler hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
