10 Cancelled Video Games That Looked Awesome

1. LMNO

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zT35UsSYqS8 There was a lot of excitement when Steven Spielberg was reported to have signed a deal with EA in 2005 to develop three games, the most impressive-looking of which was LMNO, a science-fiction adventure which saw a former special agent team up with a mysterious alien-looking character whose name was Eve. Brief concept clips have surfaced online, again demonstrating the cinematic appeal and clear influence of Spielberg's films in its concept and execution. However, the game was cancelled in late 2010, even if EA had reportedly given up on it about a year prior to that, and just left it languishing around, while leaving gamers completely unaware. With its gameplay reportedly mixing parkour-type movement into things, it could have perhaps been similar to Mirror's Edge in a sense? But we'll never get to know, of course, unless Spielberg ever decides to pick it up again, or more likely, turn it into a film? We'd pay to see that. What other awesome looking games were you annoyed about getting cancelled? Let us know in the comments below.
