10 Cancelled Video Games You Can Actually Play
6. P.T./Silent Hills
A collaboration between Hideo Kojima and legendary film-maker Guillermo del Toro, Silent Hills could have ended up being one of the scariest games ever made if it was released. Unfortunately, after a conflict between publisher Konami and Hideo Kojima, the game got cancelled in 2015.
How do we know that the game probably would have been pretty terrifying though? The Silent Hill franchise hasn't been scary for a long time, what makes this cancelled game any different?
P.T. is what makes it different. Released in 2014 on PlayStation 4, P.T. stands for Playable Teaser, and was a taste of what was to come with Silent Hills. The demo alone is one of the scariest games ever made, so imagine what the full product would have been like.
P.T. is the only way you'll get a taste of what Silent Hills could have offered.
Unfortunately, the game has been removed from the PlayStation store so getting the game isn't exactly easy, but is possible. You can buy a PlayStation 4 online with the game already on it, but if you don't want to splash some serious cash to do that, there is at least a PC fan-made remake that’s pretty great.
