10 Cancelled Video Games You Can Actually Play
7. The Original Version Of Rayman 2
The beloved Rayman 2 is easily one of the best platformers ever made. The thing is, the game that we ended up getting isn't even the first version of Rayman 2, as the game was originally built in 2D.
So what happened? Did a rogue developer sneak behind Ubisoft's back to give us a ROM of this game? What perils did they face in the name of game preservation? Well, no, but a level from the unfinished game was just added as an unlockable in the PlayStation version of the 3D game.
The level gives us a lot of insight as to what the full game would have been. The level involves two layers which Rayman can switch between by flushing himself down a shower drain, a metal T-rex, and a cool-looking cannon that shoots sticky balls.
The level is worth checking out, although getting it isn't the easiest thing in the world as you need to collect 90% of the Lums in Rayman 2 for the original PlayStation.
