9. Knight Enchanter - Dragon Age: Inquisition

The Knight Enchanter is a mage specialisation in Inquisition but more importantly for our purposes, it’s going to let you absolutely romp through Thedas without a worthy opponent in sight.

There are a bunch of OP builds in Inquisition but this was your pick so that’s the one we’re going to focus on. It was also so very overpowered that BioWare ended up nerfing it so you know it’s got to be good. Your combo of Barrier and Fade Step will make you pretty much impossible to hit while Inferno spells and Spirit Blade will have you blasting through dragons multiple levels above you like they’re basic grunts. Barrier lets you be a total tank and as long as you’re doing damage it shouldn’t drop. There’s plenty of ways to approach this one, but the build is so strong it’s not particularly gear dependent so if you wanted to be a weird naked hero you can go right ahead and do that.

Cycle between Flaming Array, Fade Cloak and Energy Barrage and nothing is getting close enough to scratch you, anyway.
