8. Chameleon - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion
Bethesda

While there’s nothing not cool about taking so little damage it’s easy to regenerate before you even notice it’s gone or having such an effective barrier you can’t be dinged in the first place, there’s one thing that’s even better than that, and that’s being practically invisible to the point where the bad guys can’t even spot you.

Curiously in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion this is not achieved through the Invisibility spell but rather the Chameleon enchantment.

The problem with the Invisibility spell is once you cast a spell, initiate an attack or interact with anybody or anything it ends. No such issue with Chameleon which lasts until the spell expires. In its traditional form you’re not quite as imperceptible but you can enchant clothing and the effect stacks. In fact it stacks so much that if you enchant multiple pieces of gear you can end up with 100% Chameleon or even more than 100% Chameleon making you the invisible bane of everybody’s lives.

Super fun, super broken, absolutely worth trying for yourself.
