10 Characters That Should Be Added To Marvel's Avengers

With Doctor Strange, the gameplay possibilities are quite literally endless.

So endless, in fact, that the Sorcerer Supreme would have to be nerfed and de-powered for the game to be at all fair. Would he have to drop the "Supreme" then?

With Magic being an undefined phenomena in the Marvel Universe, Strange could be shaped to suit a number of roles. He could rely heavily on artifacts like the Cloak of Levitation and the Axe of Angaruumus, or he could just straight shoots lightning from his fingertips like a coked up Gandalf. Either way, it would take more effort to make him uninteresting than the opposite.

And once again, with the addition of Strange comes the addition of whole other planes to explore outside of just the "Earth" territory, as well as the opportunity for some weird and wonderful villains to finally make their appearance. Fingers crossed, we might actually get a proper Dormammu this time.

The drawback, then?

No matter how fun Doctor Strange is to control, no matter which essence of magic he ends up using, he'll probably be completely insufferable to play as. Because despite there being hundreds of interpretations over the years, Strange is always THAT guy. Hard to give a reality check to someone who can control reality, after all.
