10 Characters That Should Be Added To Marvel's Avengers

While each of the Guardians of the Galaxy could have their own spot on this list, it's when they're as a group that they have the most gameplay potential.

While it's unclear whether all of Marvel's Avengers will be restricted to just the Earth setting, the Guardians could act as a tantalizing expansion package that's a little bit meatier than just a constant drip feed of singular characters.

With the introduction of the Guardians, the possibilities for stories and exploration become as limitless as, well, the Galaxy. New mission types, new areas, new enemies, the Guardians would be a great way to mix up the formula after players have completed the base game. It'd also be a good way to introduce new cosmic villains we haven't seen to the mix, like Kang and Galactus.

Not only that, the individuality of each of the Guardians means it'd be easy to make different play-styles with each character, with Draxx, for example, acting as more of a Tank type, and Starlord gravitating towards more Hit and Run tactics. Plus Groot could say "I am Groot," a lot.

It's also worth mentioning how many base characters are tied to the Guardians as well- even Iron Man was a member at some point. Cool new space costumes, anyone?
