2. Pokémon Snap
Pokémon GO recently added a snapshot feature, allowing trainers to take already caught Pokémon out of their Pokéballs and pose them for photos. The Let’s GO! games were a huge success, prompting rumours of a Johto version (Togepi and Marril?), while there’s huge hype for Sword and Shield, Detective Pikachu and Pokémon GO is still going strong.
So yes, there’s two Pokémon games here, but they’re very different from each other. With love for the franchise back to what it once was, now is the perfect time to bring Snap back. Pokémon Quest is available for free on the Switch, but it just doesn’t have the same charm.
Game Freak tried to recreate the roaming Pokémon idea in PokéPark Wii, but poor mechanics held it back. Remaking Snap for the Switch would give us another casual game Let’s GO! proved there’s a market for, with trainers wandering around trying to get the perfect shot of Charmander.
