Icewind Dale is far more focused on combat than the story-centric and more exploratory Baldur's Gate, as you'll be tactically AD&Ding your way through hordes of yetis, skeletons, trolls and mummies. You don't get to interact as much with other characters in your party, but visually the game is breathtaking, with its beautifully drawn environments still being a visual treat. The Enhanced Edition boosts the resolutions, cleans up the interface so that you can see more of the action on-screen, and even throws in some extra content inspired by the game's vociferous modding community.
