Stealth games by their very nature are meant to be challenging €“ and often frustrating €“ gaming experiences. There is a trial and error nature inherent to the concept that makes even the best games of the genre an exercise in zen-like patience. It€™s amazing, though, how much of that zen goes right out of the window when your companion runs right into a guard€™s line of sight with guns blazing like a coked-up Leeroy Jenkins.

While the Splinter Cell series has always sported a well-designed co-op mode, it never fails to produce moments where a slip of the thumb or moment of wavering patience manages to undo a complex espionage mission in an instant. Let's just say that there€™s a very good reason that James Bond rarely worked with partners.
