While Halo: Combat Evolved featured one of the absolute best co-op experiences to ever grace gaming consoles, but it also served as the catalyst for a good number of real world scuffles.
Most of this can be chalked up to the games checkpoint and resurrection systems. Having both players alive during a Halo run was crucial especially on Legendary difficulty meaning you were often forced to take advantage of the resurrection system that allowed for players to be revived based on distance and relative safety of the area.
Where the system often fell apart, was on levels that offered very few chances to revive your friends (such as the infamous Library), or large scale combat sections where a single death made it easier to blow yourself up and start over. Were all willing to make sacrifices for our friends, but Halos constant insistence on self-sacrifice as the best method of survival during the toughest sections made it difficult to not become a little resentful of your companion at times.
