2. Iron-Man
We know that Iron Man has just gotten his own VR game and will be a playable character in Square Enix’s upcoming Avengers game, but that does not stop us from wanting a major developer making a standalone game where the genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist takes centre stage.
Created by Stan Lee at the height of the Cold War, Iron Man was a roaring success among younger readers. Rather than a special being with superhuman abilities, Tony Stark was supposed to represent the lengths American technology and industry played in the fight against communism, but later interpretations of him have focused on more contemporary matters of the time.
Just as players love swinging through the city of New York as Spider-Man, they have also longed for the day when they can fly through the sky in one of the many variants of the Iron Man suit with access to all of his most iconic weapons.
The announcement of such a game would have fans and players extremely excited, especially if the game included the character War Machine to allow for cooperative play and was set in an open world.
