10 Confusing Video Game Levels We NEVER Want To Play Again

1. The Dam - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

This ones an oldie but a goodie. And by goodie I mean a baddie. As in, this level is infamous and pretty universally hated.

You’ve probably heard this one from us before but there’s a very good reason as to why because TMNT is a cut above when it comes to creating levels that are brutally painful disasters which somehow made it through the QA process.

Particularly awful is the level The Dam, where players are forced to contend with an underwater maze complete with fast diminishing air supply, swarms of electric seaweed, and confounding level design. Add to that the fact that you’re tasked with defusing eight bombs in just two minutes and twenty seconds plus there’s next to no room for error, and this level has no redeeming qualities.

After managing the brutal difficulty and maddening mechanics, if you got through this one and saw that end of level ‘OK!’ you’re absolutely not looking back.
