5. Spoiling Games That Have Only Just Been Released
Again, what was it with 2015 and spoilers? They were all over the place - almost unavoidable in certain cases. If you were one of those unfortunate enough to have The Force Awakens' pivotal moment spoiled, chances are you probably fell victim to someone ruining The Phantom Pain's biggest twist, or Fallout 4's as well. Everyone just seemed to have a prerogative this year to post spoilers at a moment's notice, and when titles have only just been released - particularly close to any holiday period - doing so is just awful. It's a lot more difficult to ruin a non-linear gaming narrative like Fallout than it is with a character-driven tale like The Last of Us, but that doesn't make spoilers any less severe for any sort of game. Fans should be able to experience their favourite franchises without knowing half of what the newest entry's plot entails. It's that simple.
