10 Craziest Moments In Bioshock's History

8. Enter Sander Cohen

At a certain point in the first BioShock, you are introduced to a musical mad man known as Sander Cohen. His devious master plan doesn't even seem to revolve around killing you, but rather plaguing your mind with his own unique brand of horror. Your initial meeting with Cohen consists of him blowing a former student up at his piano, then politely asking you to take a picture of it for him to see, along with three other former disciples. Your twisted confrontation with Cohen is capped by a chilling piece of music that lilts throughout the level, underscoring the bleak sense of depravity that is present within him. It's all incredibly disturbing, yet insanely mesmerizing to watch a boss battle play out in such a unique way. Levine plots Cohen to take you on a crazy journey of despair, and it all works brilliantly.
