10 Creepy Video Game Easter Eggs You Can't Explain
2. Hitman: Contracts - Mirror Ghost
Hitman: Contracts was a largely meagre game. It wasn't as good as its predecessor and barely reached the towering heights that Blood Money was. However, when it comes to the most memorable Easter egg in the entire series, Contracts nabs the title with the Mirror ghost.
Unlocking a restricted wing in one of the game's hotels, you can walk through a rather eerie and dilapidated part of the hotel. Eventually, you'll find a hotel room guarded by a cop. Inside there is a murder scene with blood, bodies and a knife. However, venturing into the bathroom will allow you to be scared by a ghost in the mirror.
It works surprisingly well in a game like Hitman, which isn't a horror game at all. It can twist a murder (the main aspect of the game) into something that freaks an unsuspecting player out. Not to mention it instils the fear of mirrors in them for the rest of the game.
