4. Mad Max
Never has the apocalypse looked so good. Mad Max is a visually stunning action game that, if you're to even glance at the titles troubled production, seemed to be the game that nobody wanted to get to market.
Beset with issues including multiple delays and creative switchovers, Mad Max looked like it was never going to make it out of the Thunderdome development hell it found itself in.
However when it did finally step out into the vast and desolate wasteland of 2015, it was met with....well unfotunately poor sales thanks to a mediocre marketing push, which is a true shame as this game is legitimately brilliant.
The focus on vehicular combat was an incredibly smart choice and allows the title to distance itself from other generic action titles, plus the ways in which the enviroment comes alive with massive storms is truly breathtaking.
Trying to outrun an oncoming wave of sand and lightning whilst being able to barely see is worth the price of this title alone, and it's bolstered by solid shooting and brilliant characters. A must play.
