3. The Mount Chiliad Mural - Grand Theft Auto V

You could write an entire thesis on Grand Theft Auto V's Mount Chiliad mystery, and though YouTube is littered with videos of people claiming to have "solved" it, there's still no conclusive solution.

Hell, the mystery has been so thoroughly obsessed over by GTA fans that it even has its own highly active subreddit.

Players who reach the cable car station at the top of the mountain will find a strange mural on the wall - a map of Mount Chiliad which contains symbols of a UFO, a cracked egg, and a man wearing a jetpack, while a giant eye-like object is pictured at the peak of the mountain.

Fans have wrestled with the possible meaning of the mural and what it could lead to ever since GTA V came out in 2013, including the preposterously optimistic theory that solving the mural would unlock a demo of Grand Theft Auto VI. Right.

With so many competing theories, there's no consensus at all among the fanbase, and it's still heavily debated to this day.

It's entirely possible Rockstar simply included the mural to screw with their fans, while one of the more convincing theories states that the mural is simply detailing the conditions required to achieve 100% completion.

After all, once the player hits 100% UFOs will appear over Mount Chiliad, and doesn't the "eye" at the peak of the mural look rather like a UFO?

Rockstar hasn't and probably won't ever confirm the truth, though, so fans continue to talk it out.
