10 Cult Classic Video Games That Deserve A Remake

9. Second Sight

Free Radical's Second Sight was released in 2004 and remains one of the most gripping entries from the sixth generation.

The game follows John Vattic, a psychic man who awakes one day in a medical facility in Virginia. Players are tasked with using their abilities to solve puzzles, defeat enemies and uncover the truth behind the military's attempted use of psychics.

The combination of stealth mechanics with action-packed psychic elements, non-linear storytelling and legitimately challenging puzzles helped make Second Sight one of the most ambitious titles of its day.

Fans of the game have been salivating at the prospect of a sequel since the game first dropped, but Codemasters have always been coy on the chances of that ever happening. The game only sold around a million units during its time on shelves, so it's hard to justify interest in the series being there today, at least according to raw data.

With that said, nearly two decades on from its release, a remake of the original could be the perfect way of giving hardcore fans something to reward their patience.
