10 DEADLIEST Dark Souls Sorceries
1. Dark Bead
As wildly fun as this spell is to use, it's safe to say that it is absolutely, unequivocally BROKEN.
Dark sorceries are introduced in the Artorias of the Abyss DLC, and work differently to the hexes and such found in the following games. They inflict physical damage, which nullifies the difficulty of enemies resistant to conventional magic, and this damage scales with the strength stat.
In layman's terms, if you level up strength along with intelligence on your sorcerer build, Dark Bead becomes so ridiculously overpowered that it'll end up trivialising virtually the entire rest of the game.
The sorcery involves shooting numerous dark 'beads' of Abyss energy out in a wide horizontal arc. The multi-projectile attack can hit more than one enemy at once, making it pretty useful for crowd control.
But the spell's real power comes out when you cast it right in an enemy's face, which results in them feeling the impact of every single bead simultaneously. You've only got six shots, but this is one sorcery that you really don't need to be frugal with, as it'll take down anything you subject it to right there and then.
Even bosses will only last a few hits with this crazily murderous tactic.
