10 Depressing Video Game Trends We're Probably Stuck With Forever

3. Multiplayer

Call of Duty Ghosts Jesus, I€™ve spoken about multiplayer more times than that €˜Most Interesting Man€™ meme hasn€™t been funny, but I guess just because you speak about a problem doesn€™t make it go away. Those who have been blessed by the PC Gods will take multiplayer as a novelty, but us console owners have only had a few years of that particular monkey on our back. Why people love online gaming really bugs me because all it is, is a group of individuals €“ most likely boys €“ being as cruel and crass as humanly possible to each other, thinking if I shout a great deal of 'swearies' the big boys will think I€™m totally rad. But, it really doesn€™t matter what I say €“ or have said as I€™ve spoken about multiplayer an inordinate amount in previous articles €“ it€™s unresolved€. Sort of, but not really. It€™s a bloodsucking waste of developers time. (See my other articles for my somewhat full opinion on the matter).

Thomas James Hunt is a British Video Game Critic who is a rather unpleasant character in the journalism world. So brace yourself for some nasty behaviour in the form of articles.
