10 Despicable Gaming Moments That Show The Censors Might Have A Point

1. Ethnic Cleansing (2002)

A title that gets right to the pretty awful point. Ethnic Cleansing - released in 2002 - is a game created on open source engine and developed by Resistance Records, in which you spend you time shooting the hell out of anything that has a different colour to you. The soundtrack is a inhouse masterpiece completely written by Resistance Records, so you are treated to some of the most offensive music I've even heard. What's strange to say is €“ and I know some people might take this completely the wrong way €“ but I found myself laughing whilst playing. Obviously, not because I enjoy killing specific races, but because of the music. The lyrics are absolutely hilarious when you understand that these developers/song writers etc., are some of the most deluded people ever to walk this earth. Many, many people have said that this game is the most offensive game ever made €“ and there is some validity in that statement obviously €“ but I just found it priceless that Resistance Records thought this game would be a good campaign for white supremacy. A poorly coded, unrendered mess. God, sign me up. Have a gander at their site (and no, I'm not giving them a link). It's amazing. It has a massive white lion on the homepage - probably the ironic fact that white lions are mostly found in South African wildlife reserves is lost on them. (I guess that's the right site, but I did find a huge amount on the subject).
