10 Disastrous Video Game Sequels That Forgot What Fans Want

Despite being announced after Command & Conquer Rivals, it seems like Blizzard learned nothing about what kind of backlash could ensue from shifting one of its beloved franchises over to mobile and at Blizzcon 2018 Diablo Immortal was the headliner.

Now, this game is still only at the announcement stage, but it almost comes across as complete and utter ignorance to what the player base of Diablo was waiting for. Understandably, they were not shy to vocalise their own opinions during the game's Q&A afterwards.

Blizzcon is an event that fans spend their hard-earned money to travel around the world to visit, not to mention seeing what's next from Blizzard themselves. Diablo 4 is more than likely still a ways off, and as an offering between now and then, a stripped-down mobile game was a great disappointment.

But if anyone can help a franchise bounce back, it's Rod Ferguson.
