10 Emotionally Intense Video Games You Need To Experience

2. The Walking Dead

While for some the zombie apocalypse can't arrive soon enough, in actuality it might be difficult due to the horrible choices everyone would have to make. Telltale Games€™ The Walking Dead captures this intensity perfectly by creating an interactive experience based around the decisions you€™d have to make; shooting and stabbing are only minor parts of this tale. When Lee discovers and adopts Clementine, he is given a life to raise and protect, and part of that process includes deciding what to teach her in this unforgiving world. Sure, it might be easier to kill the big man who is turning into a zombie and trapped in the same room as you, but is that the kind of message - kill people before they have a chance to recover in order to prevent them from turning into walkers - Lee should send to an innocent little girl? Eventually, even if you try to remain neutral and protect Clementine, you€™ll do some terrible things, and the villain of the game reminds you of your decisions during the final confrontation in season one. There may be some things you wish you could have done differently as Lee, but for now you have to trust Clementine to learn from your best examples in order to make the right choices in the second season.
