It feels a bit like cheating to include one of the greatest adventure games ever made, but Grim Fandango has finally received the remaster it deserves. Unveiled last year, Grim Fandango Remastered brings a dynamic lighting system, re-recorded score and hi-res character models to the critically acclaimed masterpiece. The original Grim Fandango was released almost 17 years ago, receiving an incredible reception from those that played it. In particular, the writing is considered among the finest in its class, with some incredibly memorable characters and moments. Unfortunately, the actual number of players was far too small, and the game is one of the most tragic commercial failures ever. Of course, Grim Fandango has since acquired a huge following, and the remaster is the perfect point of entry for old fans and new players alike.
