Here's another fine example of early access done well. Besiege is a physics-based building game, in which the player must construct a series of wild and wacky contraptions in order to overcome a series of challenges. These challenges can vary from demolishing a windmill, to wiping out an entire army. The building of the siege engines is almost entirely sandbox, giving the player full reign over the surprisingly powerful construction tools. As the game currently stands, there's no restrictions on the materials in your repertoire, allowing you to unleash the breadth of your creativity from the very beginning. There isn't a whole lot of structured content yet in Besiege, with only a smattering of specific challenges. Besiege is almost entirely powered by the creativity of the player though, and at the low price of $6.99, there's no reason to start designing the perfect killing machine right now.
